On 20 November 2019, the National Assembly of Vietnam adopted Labour Code No. 45/2019/QH14 ('New Labor Code'). The New Labour Code shall come into force on 1 January 2021.
The New Labour Code revises and supplements certain clauses in all chapters of the existing Labour Code. All of these developments are expected to have a huge effect on businesses and organizations.
