Demand to providing family book information when participating compulsory social insurance from 01 july, 2017
On 14th April, 2017, Vietnam Social Insurance (SI) Department issued the Decision No. 595/QD-BHXH promulgating provisions on management of collection of social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance premium, and occupational incident insurance, and occupational disease, management of social insurance books and social insurance cards that took effect from 01st July, 2017. Starting from the Decision No. 595/QD-BHXH, social insurance department will change the management method from managing through unit to individual management in order to create a central database for social insurance management by a unique SI code for each individual in whole country.
Therefore, the declaration and providing information when employees participate in social insurance also have many changes. Particularly, employees must
- Provide detailed information on the place of birth registration certificate in Criteria  in the TK1-TS form includes: ward, district, province, the city has registered birth certificate. If the place of birth registration certificate cannot be identified, writing the birth-place (in cases of merger or splitting of administrative boundaries, writing the name at the time of declaration), registered resident place or temporary resident place.
- Provide social insurance code granted by the social insurance department. In case of not remembering the social insurance code, employees can look up the social insurance number at website http://baohiemxahoi.gov.vn. If the social insurance code cannot be identified but the participators have SI book code or health insurance (HI) card code, providing the social insurance code or HI card number.
- Providing household code granted by the social insurance department. In case of not remembering the household code, employees can look up the social insurance number at website http://baohiemxahoi.gov.vn code. If there is no household code, employees need to declare the appendix on members in family that attached together with the TK1-TS form. In which: providing full and accurate information of all household members in the household registration book or temporary residence book.
In conclusion, from 1st July, 2017, the employees must provide all the information mentioned above to the for social insurance contribution at the unit.
